Pressure problems
Pressure gauge worrying you?
We get alot of messages and phone calls about pressure problems. Pressure is too low so the boiler won't fire. Pressure is too high and thats not good either.
It's not going to blow!
Relax, if you're boiler has been fitted correctly, it will have a relief valve piped to outside. If the pressure gets to high it will let the excess pressure drain out. You may have noticed a copper pipe slowly dripping outside.
Pressure too low?
Lets go through a few things to check. Theres a few different ways to top up boilers, it's frustrating, but until the Rothschilds can get everyone to agree on the same method, we are stuck with a little chaos.
